Honesty in stories. Truth in words.

Zee Loveliness

*cue sarcastic grin*

I was supposed to have a nice, sparkly post going up today. But THAT NOT HAPPENIN’. It’s 12:30 a.m., and I just finished studying. Life is not being kind to me right now. But that’s OKAY–cuz what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right? Or it teaches you to be sarcastic or…something.

No post today. Just me dumb ramblings and poor grammar.

I’m leaving for a 5 day trip tomorrow. I have two empty suitcases sitting in my bedroom that need to be filled. I have school to finish before going to the airport tomorrow morning. I have overdue thank-you notes to write. I have applications to make. I have food to eat. I’m all out of chocolate. And right now, I’m rather sore from sparring class and just want to go to sleep.

This is making me think of that song from Annie: “To-morrow, to-morrow, I love ya! To-morrow! You’re always a day away.”

Sorry I have nothing of substance to share with you.

I’m coming to the realization that being an adult is not so fun. This halfway adult thing is already miserable enough.

PS, does anyone enjoy these incredibly unprofessional lifestyle posts? Or shall I just be quiet when I have nothing to post and skip a week?

  1. No worries! Life happens like that :/ I DO enjoy these lifestyle posts because it shows how much you care for your readers. You actually took the time to come and be yourself and apologize or whatever instead of disappearing and explaining later. I at least find that very considerate and responsible :) Although unexplained absences are bound to happen as well ;) Enjoy your trip and make the most of this lovely adulting thing, hehe

Well good, I’m glad you enjoy them. ;-) I’m not sure I’d call myself responsible…

I DO care for my readers…I love you all so much!

      Adulting. Ugh. :P

Hey Ivy, I don’t know if you saw this or not, but I posted the VAVC on my blog recently. I would love to hear your opinion on it! :)

I saw it last night, Rebekah!!!! It was great–I loved it!!!! I’ll hop on over there and leave a comment shortly. Thank you so much for doing it!!!

Oh, I really like these posts. They remind me that I’m not the only one who doesn’t have 100% of my life together. ;)

And I SO AGREE Adulting is terribly overrated. I’m starting to do it….and yeah. IT’s not as fun as I though it would be. :P

I’m glad! You’re definitely not the only one with life together. Just getting out of bed in the morning is quite an accomplishment, in my mind. ;-)

Someone should really clue kids in that adulting is miserable and they should enjoy being kids. ;-)

  5. These are the kind of posts that make an “author” seem real. When you share “you” with your readers, you give them yourself and not just something that sounds good.
I enjoyed this. :) And I can sympathize with the entire “too much to do and not enough time to do it and all I want to do is sleep. Or read.” Yep. Been there, done that. Like this week!
I hope you got the necessary things done, and have a lovely trip.
