  1. Yess! I just read the Blades of Acktar series last month! I love that series soo much. I’ve also read The Witch of Blackbird Pond. I reallyy like that one too. I have not read Star of Light, but I think we own it. I’ll have to check, because if we do, I’m definitely going to read it. :)

My two favorite books. That’s a HARD one! Probably Lies Young Women Believe (that one isn’t fiction) and A Tale of Two Cities.

Ohhhh yes you must read Star of Light! So sweet!

Isn’t it a hard question??? Torture for us bookworms. I’ve heard of that first one you mentioned, and I read A Tale of Two Cities quite awhile ago. It’s a good one!!

  2. I just love your voice and your enthusiasm and everything. XD These are great, Ivy, thanks for posting! I’ve read a lot of these books too, so it’s fun to see we have the same reading taste!

This vlog made me so happy!! ^.^ I’m sorry to say I’ve only read The Witch of Blackbird Pond out of all of these. I definitely have A Penny Parcel and Blades of Acktar on my TBR since so many people love them :) Patricia St John wrote Treasures of the Snow, correct? Because I read that one a long time ago!

My top 2 are definitely An Old-Fashioned Girl and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Anything beyond that gets really hard for me to choose!

YaY!! But only The Witch?? You must read the others. And yes, Patricia St. John wrote Treasures of the Snow. It’s such a good book!!!

Ohhh I love An Old-Fashioned Girl, too! And I really need to read The Scarlet Pimpernel. I’ve heard so much about it.

Rosebud I’m recommending books for you to read. I so appreciate Francine Rivers. She is an amazing author who weaves her stories in such a way I can’t put her books down. The first is a trilogy called “Mark of the Lion”. Be prepared to have bags under your eyes. The next book is also by Francine Rivers “and the Shofar Blew”.
And good news, you won’t need to buy these books, because they are in our library. See how I just helped you keep within your book budget:-) love you Ya-Yah

I just love your vlogs, Ivy!! They are so personal and “you”! Like just stepping into your home! You’re so natural too—rambling, saying random things—so unworried/unanxious! And so pretty. . . And I like that you have no music in the background! It helps the “personal” feeling. Yours are my favorites! ❤❤

My 2 favorite books *next to the Bible*? SO HARD!!! “Jonas & Olivia” by Victoria Minks and “Basic Principles of Speech” by William Trufant Foster & Lew Sarett (1946 edition).

  7. Katja L. says:

*gasp* YOU KNOW “Basic Principles of Speech” TOO??!! What edition?
